Tâm of G?o H?t Ng?c Tr?i-An Giang won the 51km stage around H? Xuân Huong Lake in Ðà L?t City in a time of 1:04.31.
Tr?n Nguy?n Duy Nhân of the Military Zone 7 and Nguy?n Minh Vi?t of BTV Ð?i Nam-Bình Duong were the runners-up.
Alex Ariya Phounsavath of VUS-HCM City holds the yellow jersey for the best overall time after 18 stages with a time of 41:46.43, followed by Lê Ng?c Son of G?o H?t Ng?c Tr?i-An Giang and Nguy?n Nh?t Nam of Domesco Pharmacy Ð?ng Tháp.
Lê Nguy?t Minh of Domesco Pharmacy Ð?ng Tháp has the green jersey as best sprinter, while Minh’s teammate, Nam holds the white jersey as best young cyclist.
In the team rankings, Domesco Pharmacy Ð?ng Tháp lead with a time of 123:15.39. VUS-TP.HCM and G?o H?t Ng?c Tr?i-An Giang are second and third, respectively.
Today, cyclists will compete in the 19th stage from Ðà L?t City to B?o L?c City lasting 110km.
Seventy-eight cyclists from 13 teams are competing across 20 stages totalling 2,000km in the event which offers the biggest prize in Vietnamese cycling history: VNÐ1.2 billion (US$52,200). — VNS
