HÀ N?I — Nguy?n Lan Anh of Vi?t Nam on Tuesday won a gold medal in the 12th SEA Youth Athletics Championships’ girls’ high jump event in the Philippines.
On the second day of the event, Anh jumped 1.71m to take the top podium. Her teammate Hoàng Th? Thu Trang came second with 1.62m. Michelle Cornellius Lucas Mosiri of Malaysia was at third, jumping same 1.62m in her third attempt.
Vi?t Nam have grabbed 12 golds and seven silvers so far and are leading the medal tally. — VNS
